Overview
IUCN PACO is procuring an accelerator support partner for the IslandPlas project covering West African island states including Cabo Verde and São Tomé and Príncipe. The accelerator will incubate early-stage entrepreneurs developing circular economy solutions to plastic pollution in these island contexts.
Scope of Work
Design and run an accelerator/incubator programme. Recruit and select cohort participants. Deliver training (business model, finance, operations, marketing, impact). Provide mentoring. Connect cohort to investors and partners. Monitor and report. Coordinate with IUCN PACO.
Requirements & Qualifications
Accelerator/incubator firm with West Africa or island states track record. Portuguese or French capability strongly preferred. Existing partner network. IUCN Declaration of Undertaking.
Evaluation Criteria
IUCN standard RFP evaluation: mandatory compliance, technical evaluation, financial evaluation. Award to highest combined score within budget.
