Fairmont Kenya

Fairmont Kenya is the Kenyan operation of Fairmont Hotels & Resorts (part of Accor), historically operating iconic Kenyan luxury properties including The Norfolk Hotel in Nairobi (opened 1904, one of Kenya's oldest continuously operating hotels) and the Mount Kenya Safari Club in Nanyuki (founded 1959 by American actor William Holden, Ray Ryan, and Swiss banker Carl Hirschmann on the equator at the foot of Mount Kenya). Fairmont's Kenyan portfolio has also included the Fairmont Mara Safari Club on the banks of the Mara River in the Maasai Mara. The properties have hosted royalty, heads of state, and international celebrities over their long histories and are among the most recognised heritage hotels in East Africa.
