About New Kenya Cooperative Creameries
New Kenya Co-operative Creameries Limited (New KCC) is Kenya's oldest and one of its largest dairy processors, tracing its roots to 1925 as the Kenya Co-operative Creameries. After financial distress in the late 1990s, the company was re-established as New KCC in 2003 and is now fully owned by the Government of Kenya. The company operates multiple milk processing plants and produces branded products including fresh milk, long-life milk, yoghurt, butter, ghee, cream, powdered milk, and cheese under the KCC, Safariland, and Mala brands. New KCC is among the largest aggregators of smallholder milk in Kenya.
