Brookside Dairy

Brookside Dairy Limited is Kenya's largest dairy processor, founded in 1993 by the Kenyatta family (including former President Uhuru Kenyatta's brother Muhoho Kenyatta) and now operating across East Africa as a subsidiary of the regional dairy giant Brookside Group. The company processes over one million litres of milk per day, sourced from more than 160,000 smallholder farmers, and produces a broad portfolio of branded milk, yoghurt, butter, cheese, cream, and UHT products under the Brookside, Delamere, Tuzo, and Molo Milk brands. France's Danone acquired a 40% stake in Brookside in 2014, with the Kenyatta family retaining majority ownership.
