ICEA Lion Asset Management is the asset management subsidiary of ICEA Lion Group, one of East Africa's leading financial services groups with operations in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The company manages pension funds, unit trusts, segregated portfolios, and offshore investment products for institutional and retail clients across the region. ICEA Lion Group was formed in 2011 through the merger of Insurance Company of East Africa (ICEA) and Lion of Kenya Insurance, with roots going back to First Chartered Securities (founded in 1974 by the late former Central Bank of Kenya Governor Philip Ndegwa).
