Asanko Gold Mine

Asanko Gold Mine is a large open-pit gold mining operation located in the Amansie West and Amansie Central districts of Ashanti Region, Ghana. Operated by Galiano Gold (formerly Asanko Gold Inc.) in partnership with Gold Fields, the mine is one of Ghana's significant mid-tier gold mining operations, producing hundreds of thousands of ounces of gold annually and supporting employment, local content, and community development in the surrounding areas.
