Takoradi Port Authority

Takoradi Port is one of Ghana's two major seaports (alongside Tema Port), operated by the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) and located in Takoradi, Western Region. The port handles bulk cargo including manganese ore, bauxite, cocoa, timber, and petroleum products, and has been significantly upgraded to accommodate the offshore oil and gas logistics for Ghana's Jubilee and TEN fields since the 2007 oil discovery. Takoradi Port is the gateway for Ghana's Western Region and surrounding landlocked countries.
