About Oando PLC

Oando PLC is Nigeria's largest indigenous integrated energy group, with operations spanning upstream (exploration and production), midstream (gas distribution), and downstream (refining, distribution, and retailing of petroleum products). The company is dual-listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: OANDO) and the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE: OAO). Oando was founded in 1956 as Unipetrol, later privatised in 2000 and acquired by Ocean and Oil Holdings under the leadership of Adewale Tinubu (CEO, nephew of Nigerian President Bola Tinubu) and Omamofe Boyo (Deputy CEO). In 2024, Oando completed the acquisition of Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC) from Eni for approximately USD 783 million, significantly expanding its upstream footprint and reserves. Jubril Adewale Tinubu CON is Group Chief Executive.
