Description
The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) is a wholesale financial institution providing long-term funding and partial credit guarantees to participating financial institutions for on-lending to micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in Nigeria. DBN loan tiers are: Micro up to NGN 10 million, Small up to NGN 150 million, and Medium up to NGN 600 million. DBN was established with support from the World Bank, AfDB, KfW, and AFD. The bank does not lend directly to end-borrowers but operates through more than 50 partner financial institutions.
