Fidelity Bank Nigeria

Fidelity Bank PLC is a Tier-2 Nigerian commercial bank listed on the Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX: FIDELITYBK), offering retail, corporate, and investment banking services across Nigeria and through a subsidiary in the United Kingdom. The bank was established in 1988 as Fidelity Merchant Bank and converted to a commercial bank in 1999, growing through the 2005 merger with FSB International Bank and Manny Bank as part of the Central Bank of Nigeria's consolidation exercise. Dr Nnamdi Okonkwo served as MD/CEO from 2014 to 2020, succeeded by Mrs Nneka Onyeali-Ikpe who became the bank's first female CEO in January 2021. Under her leadership, Fidelity has grown to become one of the fastest-growing banks in Nigeria and completed a landmark public offer in 2024 to raise capital ahead of the CBN's recapitalisation deadline.
