Leadway Assurance Company Limited is one of Nigeria's largest and oldest privately-owned insurance companies, founded in 1970 by Sir Hassan Odukale KJW (born 1932, died 2020) and commenced operations in 1971. Under the continued leadership of the Odukale family (with Oyeoduntan "Tunde" Hassan-Odukale as Managing Director), Leadway has maintained its position as one of Nigeria's most trusted insurance brands for over five decades.
