Established in 2010, iHub is a prominent innovation center and co-working space located in Nairobi, Kenya. It serves as a nexus for technologists, investors, young entrepreneurs, designers, researchers, and programmers, fostering a collaborative environment that accelerates the growth of technology startups. The center offers mentorship, business support services, and access to workshops and events, facilitating connections with both local and international venture capital communities. In 2019, iHub became part of the Co-Creation Hub Africa (CcHUB), a collective that includes Design Lab in Rwanda, CcHUB Namibia, Elimu, Syndicate, and Growth Capital. This partnership aims to stimulate innovation and the application of technology across Africa for social impact in diverse sectors. Together, they are committed to innovating for African economic prosperity. Over the years, iHub has been instrumental in nurturing over 450 startups and has engaged with more than 5,000 individuals. Its impact extends beyond Kenya, with a vibrant community of founders, entrepreneurs, creatives, and freelancers spread across multiple locations on the continent, contributing to one of the largest pan-African innovation enablers.
