Airtel Nigeria

Airtel Networks Nigeria Limited (operating as Airtel Nigeria) is Nigeria's third-largest mobile network operator and the Nigerian operation of Airtel Africa PLC, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange and the Nigerian Exchange Limited. Airtel Nigeria was originally launched as Econet Wireless Nigeria in 2001, then successively rebranded as Vmobile (2004), Celtel (2006), Zain (2008), and finally Airtel (2010) following Bharti Airtel's acquisition of Zain's African operations. The company serves approximately 55 million subscribers across Nigeria with 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G mobile services, alongside Airtel Money mobile financial services through Smartcash Payment Service Bank.
