KCV has attracted significant follow-on capital and co-financing into its portfolio, leveraging a total of US$ 19.9 million. Co-investors include Rabo Bank, Equity Bank, OPES-LCEF, Bestseller Foundation, Hooge Raedt Social Ventures, Siemens Foundation, Nordic Impact Funds, Cornerstone Enterprises Ltd, and WRI TerraFund. KCV was licensed as a specialized climate fund manager for its next growth phase, scaling operations beyond Kenya and deepening market systems impact. The firm is initiating fundraising for US$ 23–25 million to grow its investment portfolio and regional reach.
